Yahoo has apparently announced another data breach, the provider has emailed most of its users warning them that hackers used forged cookies to gain access to their accounts.

The guys at ZDNet received a replica of the email that was sent to Yahoo users and see most of that email below.

Our outside forensic experts are investigating the creation of forged cookies that may allow an intruder to view users’ accounts with not a password. Using the ongoing investigation, the world thinks a forged cookie might have been utilized in 2019 or 2019 gain access to the account.

The investigation has identified user is liable for which the world thinks forged cookies were taken or used. Yahoo is with the strategy of notifying all potentially affected members,” a spokesperson confirmed.
